Real Food Meal Plan: May 20-26

Here is our family meal plan for this week. I only plan breakfast and dinners as we tend to eat leftovers for lunch or stick with simple sandwiches and fruit and veggies. Breakfast is in orange and dinner in blue. Links for some recipes are provided.

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday
Scrambled Eggs, toast with real butter and homemade jam
   
Soaked oatmeal (recipe coming this week) with bananas and berries and chopped walnuts with raw honey on top and raw milk    Parmasean Frittata with  Fresh Rosemary and Greens with toast and real butter
Homemade Granola add 1/4 cup black- strap molasses to recipe with homemade yogurt with raw honey, berries. Cantaloupe slices on the side. Smoothies: Berries, peaches, apple juice, spinach, flax, yogurt, banana, and peanut butter
with toast and real butter or coconut oil
Paleo-Beakfast Bars with hard-boiled eggs with cantaloupe slices and strawberries
Banana-Walnut French Toast  with blueberries  with real butter and pure maple syrup and pastured bacon
 
Roasted whole Chicken with broccoli and roasted carrots and collard greens
Save chicken bones to make overnight crock-pot bone broth  
Bean and Barley Arugula Salad (one of my favorite summer salads) with watermelon slices and roasted broccoli and  cauliflower Spicy Bean Burritos (these are not very spicy, more “flavorful”) with homemade guacamole, salsa, raw sour cream,brown rice tossed with cilantro and lime juice while cooking
Fruit Salad
Lasagna Roll ups packed with broccoli and spinach (recipe coming soon) made with homemade spaghetti sauce Green salad with homemade dressing Homemade Pizza, 1/2 cheese and 1/2 topped with arugula tossed in olive oil and lemon juice, place on top of pizza as soon as it comes out of the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese Watermelon slices and sauteed spinach  Easy Lentil and Kale Soup
with corn bread
Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes
I will be using this recipe for the Barbecue Sauce
on Ezekial Brand Sprouted Buns

Green Salad with homemade dressing

For snacks:  Fruit, Mary Gone Crackers with cheese, and Cranberry-Date Lara bars, smoothies, popcorn with coconut oil and Real Salt“The Cookie”, Chocolate Banana Pops, and Cucumber and Carrot slices with homemade guacamole.
