This magical, marvelous food on our plate, this sustenance we absorb, has a story to tell. It has a journey. It leaves a footprint. It leaves a legacy. To eat with reckless abandon, without conscience, without knowledge; folks, this is not normal.

Here is our family meal plan for this week. I only plan breakfast and dinners as we tend to eat leftovers for lunch or stick with simple sandwiches and fruit and veggies. Breakfast is in orange and dinner in blue. Links for some recipes are provided.

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday
Scrambled Eggs and biscuits with real butter Soaked oatmeal with bananas and berries and chopped walnuts with raw honey on top and raw milk   Omelet with veggies and cheese with toast, real butter and cinnamon sprinkled on top  cantaloupe slices
Homemade Granola  with homemade yogurt or raw milk and berries. Orange slices on side
Beets and Strawberry Smoothie homemade zucchini muffins with real butter Parmesan Frittata with Rosemary and Greens  I am completely  addicted to this Frittata! with banana slices and breakfast potatoes
Soaked Oat Banana Waffles with blueberries and real butter topped with pure maple syrup
Pork Chops that Taste like French Toast (I will be using maple syrup in place of brown sugar and pastured pork chops) with “Better than Carrabbas” Mashed Potatoes and green beans Spring Quiche (I will be using cow feta in place of goat cheese) with watermelon slices and oven roasted cauliflower Cuban style black beans, with homemade guacamole, red onions, raw sour cream, tomatoes, cilantro, shredded cheddar cheese, and brown rice tossed with cilantro and lime juice while cooking
Fruit Salad
Fusilli with Kale, pastured Sausage and Cherry Tomatoes Green salad with Buttermilk Garlic Ranch Dressing Homemade Pizza(add fresh chopped basil to the dough)with fresh chopped tomatoes and torn spinach
Green salad with homemade dressing
Slow Cooker Chicken Soup (I add whole wheat macaroni noodles to the crock pot the last 30 minutes)
with fresh bread and real butter
and roasted broccoli in the oven
Teriyaki chicken with veggies
Served over brown rice Grilled pineapple slices

Snacks this week: Green Power Smoothie, apple slices with this dip (I be using homemade yogurt), pineapple in homemade yogurt, cucumber and carrot slices with hummus and left over homemade ranch dressing from Thursday night, cantaloupe and watermelon slices, air popped popcorn with real salt and real butter or coconut oil,  Granola Bars.
