4 bell peppers 1 TB extra virgin olive oil 1/2 cup diced yellow onion 3 garlic cloves minced 1 lb ground beef

15-ounce can tomato sauce 1 TB Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp dried basil 1 cup cooked rice 3/4 cup shredded monterey Jack cheese or cheddar cheese

STEP 1 Cut the bell peppers in half. Preheat the oven to 350F.

STEP 2  In a hot skillet, saute the onion and garlic until softened and translucent. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until brown.

STEP 3  While the beef cooks, add the tomato sauce and all the seasonings to a bowl. Mix well to combine.

STEP 4  Stir the sauce and cooked rice into the ground beef.
